Designer shoes can sometimes be a difficult item to purchase, particularly online. Although there are helpful reviews that can advise what fitting size, style or whether the brand sells true to size shoes, there can sometimes be a risk in whether or not they will fit and feel comfortable.

If you love designer shoes but don't want to pay retail prices, eBay has been a good option, but lately the selection and prices have been hit or miss. There are other great options for finding discount designer s hoes, however. Online sample sales are a gold mine for getting designer goods for cheap.

There are several sites that t host these sales on a regular basis, including Gilt, Rue La La, Ideeli, Beyond the Rack and Haute Look.

Shoe clubs like Hello Stiletto offer social events and also occasional retail events at designer outlets that feature additional discounts for club members. Consignment shops are another treasure trove of designer goods. In many big cities, some specialty consignment shops deal only with designer goods.

Sometimes you can also find designer shoes in excellent condition at thrift stores, especially if you shop one of the days when the new shoe inventories arrive.

You know how in real estate it's "Location, location, location?" Well, the same goes for accessories when it comes to fashion outfits! Accessories complete an outfit, and sometime they really make the outfit. Take, for instance, jewelry, such as jewelry at www.goldsea24.com. Whether it's a timeless gown or an ultra-current fashion statement, the right jewelry is what will really make it pop! You know how the little black dress is right for so many occasions? Well, on its own, it doesn't make quite the same impact as with the right accessories. Remember Audrey Hepburn in "Breakfast at Tiffany's? She had the classic little black dress on, but with a fabulous necklace, earrings and a cigarette holder that really completed the look. I'm not, of course, encouraging you to overdo it, it's just a great example of how accessories set the tone so to speak. You can make an outfit more elegant or less elegant, more playful or more demure depending on the accessories. For instance, a large purse wouldn't be for evening, right? Get the picture? It's really fun to play around with accessories once you really understand their effect. If you're unsure, start with classic and then venture out from there as you build your confidence.

Something Blue is a new women's fashion exchange in Petersfield, UK. It is stocked with secondhand designer clothes and bags from Gucci, Dolce and Gabbana, Jaeger and Victoria Beckham. All of the items on sale have hardly ever been worn and so the prices are not as cheap as you might have hoped, but they are a steal compared to the purchase prices these items would command new.

The owner of the shop, Moyra White, gives half the proceeds from the sale of clothing and accessories to the person who brought them in. Moyra got the idea for the shop as she noticed that many of her friends and she herself often bought expensive dresses and wore them only once. When another exchange shop in Petersfield called Deja Vu closed down, she saw the opportunity to fill the gap that it left in the local market.
